Latin music and food in a family fun night?  Yes, PLEASE!

The Aquarium of the Pacific is holding a Latin Themed, Noches de Estrellas(Night of the Stars) evening with live bands, DJ's, underwater dive shows, scavenger hunt with prizes, kids crafts and so much more!  Did I mention the event is FREE to Aquarium members?  

Price is only $14.95 unless you are under 3, which is free.

Party with the Sea Stars on Friday, March 27, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m.

The Aquarium will remain open past normal operating hours so guests can dance to the sounds of cumbia, salsa, rock en Español, ska, and more with the live bands Sonsoles and Raskahuele and DJ Quinto Sol. The Noche de Estrellas (Night of the Stars) event will feature Aztec dance with Danza Azteca Cultural Ketzaliztli, children’s crafts with the Museum of Latin American art, and bilingual educational programs, including an underwater SCUBA diving show, scavenger hunt with prizes, ocean-related activities, drought education with Mujeres de La Tierra, Earth science with NASA’s Jet Propulsion Lab (JPL), and more—all offered in both English and Spanish. Mexican cuisine, beers, wine, cocktails, and refreshments will also be available for guests to purchase. In addition to being immersed in Latin culture, guests can journey through the Pacific Ocean to meet over 11,000 animals at the Aquarium, including penguin chicks and animals they can touch from sharks and rays to sea jellies and horseshoe crabs.
