Irvine Park Railroad: Sharing Memories with Friends | @IrvineParkRR #EasterEggstravaganza

Last weekend opened our annual Easter outing at Irvine Park Railroad and we brought along friends who had never been!  It was fun seeing the kids joy for the first time as I did 6 years ago.  The wonder of seeing the Easter Bunny or the pure joy at finding the goodies at the Egg Hunt.

All of these things I have taken for granted since we have been enjoying it for so long.  My kids have grown up at the park and it is amazing at how far we have come.  We were invited by the park to share our fun with everyone and we were happy to share the time with friends as well.

We got to the park early so we could get a spot in the egg hunt for kids 2-12.  We arrived in time to hear the cute jokes that the children and the organizer told and then it was time for the hunt.

Each child is only allowed to keep 8 eggs but may pick up as much candy as they want lying on the ground.  There are many opportunities to take great Easter photos, including those with the Easter Bunny.

How much have your kids grown since last year?  The growth chart is a fun way of keeping track.

Other activities included face-painting, moon bounce, balloon animals, carnival games, and of course my kids favorite, cookie decorating.

Don't forget the train, tractor, and pony rides.

Want to spend all day here?  There are bike rentals and paddle boat rides too!  There is also the OC Zoo for the animal lovers.

Irvine Park Railroad has been a family treat for my family since my children were in diapers and we look forward to many more years of enjoyment.

Before you go to the Easter Eggstravaganza, be sure to go to their website and print out coupons here.  If possible, go on the weekdays as the weekends get crowded and often the egg hunts sell out.

DISCLAIMER:  My family was given tickets to share our experiences.  All thoughts and ideas are my own.  Do not use any photos without permission.
