Last week the kids at Maxwell Elementary got a larger than life treat! The MENACE Monster Truck visited their school as a reward and supplementation to their STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) Program.
The kids were supplied with K'nex Monster Trucks to build in their class and were given the chance to show them off to the driver of the Menace. The kids were encouraged to ask questions about the engineering of the trucks and what it took to race such an incredible machine.
My son's life revolves around monster trucks and he couldn't wait to share his truck that he brought from home. He was fascinated by the way they entered the truck under-neath instead of using a door.

The kids were amazed at the size of the tires! They could actually crawl right through the rims!

A large Monster Truck needs its own monster-sized vehicle to travel in and a crew to go with it.

The driver of the Menace was so patient and answered all the kids questions and even signed their trucks!
The Monster Jam series started this last weekend and I can't wait until my family goes on January 24th! Be sure to check out the awesome show from last year, here.
