With less than a week left, many of us have procrastinated in getting our loved ones their Christmas gifts. While shopping is NOT my favorite thing, I DO love giving gifts!
I have been thinking, shopping would be more fun if I had some clue as to what to get people. Really, everyone is so different and everyone has different tastes. Can't everyone just like the same thing? LOL
Well I bit the bullet and went shopping this week at the Outlets at Orange(formerly the Block of Orange). Why did I choose the Outlets? Bottom line, I love deals. Also, the Outlets have so many stores, I knew that I had a great chance of finding the right gift for everyone on my list. I also included a few ideas for the men in our lives because we all know that men HATE shopping!
One of the reasons I don't particularly like shopping is because I usually have my children with me, complaining the whole time. How do I avoid that? I found a solution. Zoogamo! I had walked into the Outlets and almost got ran over by a Panda. Okay, it wasn't a REAL panda but these cute rental animals that keep little legs from getting tired while mom shops.
Imagine an electric bike covered in cute animal fur and you have an idea how it works. They are very stable and I saw kids as young as 3 riding them.
I started off to the ASICS store to check out the latest running gear for my husband. The Warrior Dash is coming up in May and we could both use some new shoes. I found a huge selection of running shoes for every type of foot. Also, the shoes were buy one and get one half off. PERFECT! One for me and one for hubby.

Running isn't for everyone. If you are looking for comfortable jeans and great looks, I recommend the Lucky Brand store! I have never worn a more flattering pair of jeans. The guys gave them the thumbs up too.

In our family, sports are a big deal. At least one Christmas or birthday gift must be sports related. I found that Sports Authority had a great selection on most of the local teams EXCEPT the LA Kings! Despite that downfall, I loved the selection of Under Armour sweatshirts and good variety of sporty gifts like the GoPro Hero 4.

What to get teenage boys. Does anyone really know? I usually give my nephew clothes or money but I wanted to get him something he would love. Game Stop was my solution. They have a HUGE selection of the latest games for only $12! I love the fact that there was a large selection of used games that they could get more for their money.

One of the stores that I find the most versatile for the active set is Tilly's! They have durable and comfortable clothing for all those on the go!

Did you know that the Outlets of Orange have a Skate Park? Inside the HUGE Vans store, is a skate park that anyone may come and use for a small fee. While you are there, check out these Star Wars Vans I found! Perfect for my son!

Since I am a mom, it is hard to go anywhere and NOT buy something for my kids so I stopped in at Gymboree to check out their latest fashions. I got some of these fleece hats and gloves as stocking stuffers to keep them warm when we visit the snow.

Men, you may not have to shop for very many people but it's a good bet that you will have to buy for that special someone in your life. If you are thinking of popping the question this holiday, Kay Jewelers had gorgeous rings and jewelry! A cute nighty wouldn't hurt either from Fredrick's of Hollywood or Victoria Secrets.

After shopping all day for others, I thought, what about me? I saw the Nordstrom's Rack sign and made a bee-line to the store. I don't splurge very often on me but I have a weakness for boots! I LOVE boots! My purchase of the day? These ADORABLE brown Coach boots that were fur lined! So soft! I almost got the black ones too but refrained. Maybe next Christmas.

Still haven't seen what to get your loved ones? How about getting them a gift card? There is a wide variety of restaurants, stores and activities to use them at. One of my favorites, Dave and Busters! Games for kids and drinks and food for adults! You really can't go wrong. Did you know that they have half off games every Wednesday?
I hope I made your last minute shopping a little easier by bringing you along while I got MY shopping done! If you haven't been down to the Outlets of Orange recently, they have made a lot of great improvements and there are new stores all the time.
