A Frightfully Good Time at Queen Mary's Dark Harbor | @QMDarkHarbor #EvilLurksWithin

Are you aware that the Queen Mary is haunted?  There have been numerous ghost hunters and ghost sightings all over this historic ship.  Come to Dark Harbor at the Queen Mary during October and you might get more than you bargained for!

Whether you believe in ghosts or not, Dark Harbor is a great night out with the girls or hubby!   I loved how my girlfriends and I clung together as we ran through the mazes and bowels of the ship.

When we arrived at the Media Night preview, we were greeted by a host of walking zombies.  Everywhere we walked, we were spooked and surprised by them jumping and sliding past us!

Like live music?  The live band "Rhythm Coffin",  played throughout the night and very likely, woke up all the spirits!

There were a variety of food booths and bars to fill your stomach and quench your thirst.  The RIP lounge upstairs was a fun relief from the crowds with great views!  Limited tickets are available for this area but it includes food and drink.

As we ventured into the mazes, it was apparent that the fright was yet to come!  With a mixture of the costumed characters and the ships supernatural history, you didn't know where to look!  I swore there were were things I couldn't quite see but could feel.

My favorite area was the Ghost Encounters inside B340.  This reservation with small fee tour led you to the engine room and propeller area where the dead walk the halls.

A close second was Submerged!  Have you heard of the the pool area?  Scary Mary still walks the corridors and invites you for a late night swim.

Outside the ship, the most prominent item that you see is a large Carousel Swing that used to belong at Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch!  Ride this beautifully crafted swing at night and you can get a birds eye view of Dark Harbor.

There were fire dancers putting on hair raising shows.

Next to the swing were cabana's that you could rent for relaxing night with food delivered straight to you and 5 of your closest friends!

Next to the cabana's you will find Sliders Lane where you can see the monsters doing a variety of tricks and slides with sparks galore!  A fun break from the mazes.

You can get great deals for Dark Harbor at Retail Me Not.  Normal tickets start at $20 but it depends on which night you go as prices vary.

Dark Harbor runs 20 select evenings from October 2 to November 2.  It is open from 7pm-Midnight with Halloween open from 7pm-1am.
