PET PRODUCT REVIEW: Skin and Teeth Refreshed by VetIQ | @VetIQPets #ad

With summer came the typical skin itchies with my furbaby, Brittany.  I figured she might have fleas so I gave her flea treatments.  The flea treatments seemed to work but mostly she seemed to have dry skin so I looked around for a skin vitamin to add to her diet.

I wanted something that she would eat that I wouldn't have to hide in a treat and honestly, didn't smell like fish.  I had tried a couple skin supplements that were mostly fish oil and YUCK!  LOL

I was approached to try a product that would fit the bill, Skin and Coat by VetIQ.  The supplement came in the form of a small round jerky smelling treat.  My dog ate it up!  In fact, it smelled so good, my cats tried stealing them from her.

I think it took about 3-4 weeks but I noticed that she no longer itched and her fur was softer and shinier.  I like that even though it had fish oil in it, I would have never guessed since I couldn't smell it.

While I was looking at helping Brittany's skin, I was offered a chance to try something for her doggie breath.  Like most dogs, she has bad breath.  Dog breath you might say. I jumped at the chance to possibly help make her slobbery kisses a little sweeter.

The Minties chewable dog bone was a good fit.  Since Brittany is part Golden Retriever, she loves chewing on anything.   The bone was easily chewed and she had peppermint kisses after.

The Minties help the bad breath by cleaning the tartar off the teeth and gums so it is like brushing their teeth without the hassle of a brush.  I like that.

What I like most about Minties is that they are FREE of:

  • Gluten
  • Wheat
  • Soy
  • Animal by-products
  • Artificial flavors
  • Sugars and salts
I would definitely recommend these products due to their beneficial ingredients and for the fact that my pup LOVES them!  Since Brittany gives them the okay, they must be good!
