PENGUINS: Take Daily Walks w/ Penguins at the Aquarium of the Pacific! | @AquariumPacific #Penguins

Starting June 1st through the end of the month, the Aquarium of the Pacific would like to invite everyone to meet their baby Magellanic Penguins in a way that most could ever dream. Without glass or any barrier.

Last week, my daughter and received an invite to get a sneak preview of this wonderful opportunity to get up close and personal with these adorable birds.

The penguin caretakers have been working with the babies on taking them for walks through the aquarium to give them a chance to see and be seen by all that adore them. Through the month of June, their keepers will take them for daily walks at 10am through the octopus, jelly-fish, sea otter corridor.

Any paid guest is welcome to join them to get up close and personal with them. The caretakers only ask that you do not try to touch them. This however does not prevent the penguins from approaching you and even pecking at your feet(it doesn't hurt).

This was SO much fun! We loved watching them interact with the sea otters and even as they tried pecking them through the glass! I could see the wheels turning in their minds as they eye the various fish in the exhibit and wonder how they could get their beaks on them.

The caregivers allow the penguins to roam as they want although they try to keep a little bit of space free for them as the crowds started to get a little overwhelming.

We really enjoyed seeing them as my daughter had not had the chance to get that close to wildlife before and penguins are now some of her favorite Aquarium animals.

Hurry and check out this unique opportunity to do a meet and greet with these babies, they have grown up so much in the last year and their caregivers have done a wonderful job with them!
