The Children's Place: Spring Collection Plus #Giveaway! | @ChildrensPlace #PlaceSpring


I love going clothes shopping for my 4 year old daughter... really... I do... okay I HATE it!   Shopping isn't really my thing.  As long as it fits and is comfortable and matches, you would think that anything cute would be great.

Not in my daughters case.  She is going to be a lawyer one day, I am sure of it.  If I like an outfit, she hates it.  If I hate an outfit, she loves it.  That is just the way we roll.

How do you shop for  a 4 year old that is going on 16?  The only solution is to bring her along and have her shop for herself.  When I was invited to check-out the new spring collection at the Children's Place, there was no doubt that I had to bring her along.


  

As we walked in the door, we gravitated to the adorable Hawaiian short sets perfect for the warm spring and summer days.  The colorful skirts made my daughters day as there were over 20 patterns to choose from!


With Easter just a couple weeks away and my daughter being the girly girl she is, she saw the skirts and dresses and literally ran to the selection.    We spent a good 45 minutes looking through selection and then noticed the clearance racks.


I am a bargain shopper, always have been.  If you want a great deal and cute clothes, this is the place for you!  I found everyday shirts for only $2!  Leggings, dresses, pj's and pants all were included in this area and I bought  more than I probably should.

When I think summer, I naturally think bathing suits and cover-ups.  There were many to choose from and even my daughter found ones she liked.

  


After my daughter had filled a large bag with her choices, we walked over to boy section to look for clothes for my 6 year old son.  Boys are not picky(thank God!) and I was pleasantly surprised by the selection of Zombie, Marvel and Monster Truck shirts perfect for his rough and tumble activities.


There were button-down shirts, ties and hats to perfect the Easter look.


  

Comfortable cotton shorts are perfect for play and running around being a kid.



No boy is complete without board shorts and rash guards.
