Have you been to the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium lately? Have you heard of this unique aquarium that features the largest collection of SoCal coastal marine life in the world? Open since 1935, this aquarium is free to the public but stays open due to a $5 donation and their great programs for the community.
This weekend, the Cabrillo Marine Aquarium will be hosting the seventh annual Young Scientists Symposium to celebrate student projects based at CMA to bring together scientists of all ages with the public to talk about our shared love of science.
A poster session and demonstrations in the Susanne Lawrenz-Miller Exhibit Hall are open for our visitors to meet the students and learn more about CMA’s Young Scientists Program. Student presentations will be held in the John M. Olguin Auditorium. RSVP to stay for the reception to get to know our students more informally.
