Divers Day at Aquarium of the Pacific: Free Admission | @AquariumPacific #SCUBA

Photo Credit: Aquarium of the Pacific
As a SCUBA diver of more than 20 years, I have seen a large variety of marine life.  I have been spoiled in the fact that I learned how to dive off the waters of Southern California.  In fact, I learned how to dive off the beautiful Island of Santa Catalina.

The waters off Southern California have some of the most beautiful diving in the world and people from all over to experience the diverse ecosystem.  If you aren't a SCUBA diver, the next best thing to see our marine ecosystem, is to visit the Aquarium of the Pacific.
The Aquarium events are as diverse as the aquatic life that care for.  The latest in the schedule is the Divers Day.

From 9am to 5pm on Saturday, March 22, Divers Day gives free admission into the Aquarium to any SCUBA diver with proof of certification and photo ID.

Divers will learn all about:
  • The recent advancements in diving at the Aquarium of the Pacific's annual Divers Day
  • Educational presentations
  • Live dive demonstrations
  • Learn about volunteer diving and other opportunities for involvement with dive-related organizations in Southern California
  • Check out the science of diving
Cost
FREE for SCUBA divers with valid proof of certification and photo I.D. or general admission--$28.95 adult (12+), $25.95 senior (62+), $14.95 child (3-11), and free for children under age 3 and Aquarium members

Location: Aquarium of the Pacific, 100 Aquarium Way, Long Beach, CA 90802

Info/Tickets: 562-590-3100 or www.aquariumofpacific.org

Even if you aren't a SCUBA diver, this is a great event that teaches current and past SCUBA techniques and it is great to get together with like-minded people that share their love of diving.

I hope to see you there!
