Win a Season Pass to Mountain High! ($349 Value) | @MtHigh #GIVEAWAY

Winter is almost upon us and everyone is anticipating the first significant snow fall in our mountains!  Our family can't wait to get up to the snow because this is the year both of my children are old enough to take snow-boarding lessons!

We have many different resorts to choose from so we looked into the most kid friendly.  Every-time I researched which slopes were the easiest for beginners and yet challenging for adults, Mountain High came up.  It is also one of the closest resorts so we pay less in gas to get there.  BONUS!

My family was offered tickets to check out how family friendly Mountain High was for ourselves and we can't wait!

Did you know that children 7 and under are free with a paying adult?

What programs do they have for beginners?  What do they offer families?  Mountain High offers:
  • The Bullwheel Grill that has hamburgers to heart healthy choices
  • Winter Sports School where you can purchase tickets, check in for lessons and pickup rental paperwork
  • Children's Sport Center
  • Burton Riglet LTR (Learn To Ride) Center
  • Warming stations
  • Rentals
  • Beginner-specific equipment and learning programs
  • Lessons that start at age 4 with small class sizes
  • 400 foot moving carpet
  • North Pole Tubing Park

Terrain-based teaching zones are the newest thing in snow sports teaching.   Features such as banks, berms, camel humps, and mini-halfpipes, let guests feel the natural movements of their equipment while reducing fears, reducing falls, and increasing the overall excitement.  Students learn to go with their momentum rather than fight against it because the terrain does the work.  The result transforms a “traditional” lesson taught on the bunny hill into a beginner experience that keeps students engaged and coming back, proponents indicate.

Mountain High has also developed a new discount Family Package to help parents and kids unite on the slopes.  Now available midweek non-holiday, families can purchase one adult lift ticket, one child’s lift ticket (ages 12 and under), and two $10 meal vouchers for $89, a $15 discount  For a more comprehensive experience, guests can add a lesson and rentals for $30 more per person, or add additional tickets and meal vouchers for $59 per adult and $30 per child 12 and under.

Season passes are great for the die hard skiers and snow-boarders!  Come as often as you want day or night with NO black out days! The current price for the season pass is only $299.  However, this price goes up on November 1st!  No problem for SoCal Kids Outdoor Adventure readers though.  I have a special discount code that will keep your price at $299 for the whole month of November! Enter in (socalkidsoutdooradventures) in the coupon code area when you go to this special link!

Will I see you on the slopes this winter?

I also have a special giveaway just for my readers.  How would you like to win a season pass for free?
