The 2013 Halloween Week festivities started off this Sunday with Eek at the Greek!!!

This wonderful event presented by Mercedes-Benz Dealers of Southern California, was one where little ones and adults got to enjoy a variety of spooky, eeky and fun activities.  We were invited to be apart of the VIP Lounge and get a up close and personal look at Eek at the Greek.

As soon as we entered the venue, we were greeted by life size skeleton balloons and an awesome scarecrow on stilts. We were then transported into the middle of a Halloween town surrounded by pumpkin patches, graveyards and many more eerie sights.

The firemen and the police were very popular among the treat-or-treaters greeting the kids and taking photos with them.

And you know zombies... they are a hit right now, three of them made a special appearance. The set-up was spooktacular!!!

What did we do before the concert? What did we NOT do!!! For the little bakers in our families they had a cupcake decoration booth. They also had an Arts and Craft booth, a Photo booth with all kinds of props and lots of other games.

And don’t forget about the Costume Contest were we saw parents and their kids dressed up in original costumes, like “The Incredibles” and “Curious George”...... So cute!!! Allie Mac Kay (KTLA5) made her appearance at the moment of choosing the lucky winners.

The evening arrived and it was time for some eerie music from Symphony in the Glen directed by Arthur B. Rubinstein. They performed some spooky tunes from “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, “Wicked” and even a live narration by Stacy Keach of Edgar Allan Poe’s “The Tell-Tale Heart”. The night ended with the “Adopt a Pumpkin” to support Symphony in the Glen.
