What a FUN Playdate with SurfCityFamily! @SurfCityFamily #HB

When you have little ones, you are always looking for play dates in the summer to keep them busy.  As a blogger, we have the chance to not only get to share our fun experiences but we also get to meet awesome people!

Last week, I finally got to meet Marci of Surf City Family.  I had talked online with her but had never met her in real life as that often happens.  The technological age has us often only seeing each other on Facebook and Twitter.  I also had a chance to meet-up with Mary of Let's Play OC and Jennifer of Toddler Trails and their adorable children!

Surf City Family is a new blog with writers that have been around for awhile but is branching out to share their family activities and their love of their city, Huntington Beach.  I often visit the actual beaches in Huntington Beach but I don't often enough explore the city.

Surf City Family's first play date was at the Huntington Beach Central Park playground which is next to the Huntington Beach Dog Park off of Edwards.

The park is adorable! It has plenty of green grass to let the kids roam and romp to their hearts content.  The playground is a good size but not overwhelming that you easily lose sight of your children.

There are BBQ's near picnic tables for a fun summer time meal and bathrooms close so you don't have any accidents to change.

The play date snack was sponsored by Tosi Health and Nothing But Bundt CakesTosi Health provided a new snack bar that was gluten free and SO delish! Check out their site for more options and alternatives.

Nothing But Bundtcakes provided a not as healthy but Oh So Delish mini Bundt cake!

Surf City Family hosted a wonderful play-date with Rapunzel from Tangled.  Kelly Smith of Perfect Princess Party Orange County; sang, danced, played games and exercised our kids so that when it was time to go, many passed out in their car-seats.   Even our boys had a great time and helped the younger kids.

It was great to finally get to meet such a fun loving person such as Marci and her family and I hope to share more adventures together with her!

You can follow Marci at Surf City Family on Facebook, Twitter and Pinterest.  You will see the little known side of such a wonderful city and get to know a great family.
