It's Sno-Biggie! It's Sno-Balls! Latest SoCal Sweet Craze! @Sno_Biggie

You may have seen pictures of a delicious new treat I  discovered about 5 minutes from my house in Los Alamitos,  Sno-Biggie.  My family was invited to check out for ourselves, what a New Orleans sno-ball was. 


What is Sno-Biggie?  It is a sweet shop that specializes in New Orlean style sno-balls.   Sno-balls?  What are those?  Many people at first glance think they are sno-cones, not so. 

Sno-balls are made specially extremely thin shaved ice and molded by the creators hands.  They also top/bottom/middle the ice with an assortment of different sweets such as syrups, whipped cream, condensed milk, ice-cream and more!  Sno-balls melt in your mouth and is as different from sno-cones as cotton candy is from taffy. 

Sno-Biggie also provides other sweets such as candy, cupcakes, cookies, Dippin Dots, and other baked goods. 

This sweet shop is located right off Los Alamitos Blvd/Seal Beach Blvd next to Ganahl Lumber.

There were so many different syrups and almost and infinite number of combinations you could try.  I chose the Carmel Apple Pop while the Orange and Cream, Rainbow and Birthday Cake combinations were the choice of my family. 

WOW!  If I had any thoughts that sno-cones and sno-balls were the same, they left immediately.  My Caramel Apple Pop had vanilla icecream, shaved ice, green apple syrup, condensed milk and carmel drizzled on top!

I couldn't let my families sno-balls go without a tasting and all were delish!

This cute sweet shop kind of brought me back to the old soda fountain/sweet shops that used to be around when I was a kid.  I am glad they are making a comeback.  The shop also carried baked goods such as cupcakes, cake pops and S'mores!



I will warn you, this is VERY addicting!  So go at your own risk! :-P
