The Manhattan Beach Grand Prix (MBGP) was founded in 1962 by local cycling legend Ted Ernst and is the nation's second-oldest, one-day bicycle race.
As the race has grown over the past 52 years, it has developed a reputation for providing high-quality competition that benefits both the community and the athlete.
The MBGP provides racing for all levels of men and women U.S.A. Cycling (USAC) racers as well as a wide age range of community racers.
The MBGP draws over 7,500 spectators and nearly 1,000 racers. For more information, visit the Grand Prix website.
