I have promised you a new giveaway and here it is! I tell you about all all our fishing trips and how much fun we have.  How would you like to win a fishing rod for your child?

This fishing rod is actually for anyone and can be used by us parents as well.  Of course what is a fishing rod without lures and a tackle box?  Yup! Your little fisher people will be raring to go!

While fishing rods are great and all, what's fishing without fish?  I have (2) tickets to giveaway to the Aquarium of the Pacific as well.  Just don't try using your new fishing rod there! You might get in trouble if you try. :-)

The Aquarium of the Pacific hosts its 4th annual Urban Ocean Festival on Sat. and Sun., May 4 and 5, featuring art exhibitions, the Trashin Fashion eco-fashion show (on Sunday, May 5th at 1:20 p.m.), boat cruise, games, mural painting, poetry, live music, sustainable seafood cooking demos, and other activities inspired by the bustling ocean.

 The Pacific waters off Southern California host a variety of industrial and recreational activities and also provide habitat for a diverse array of animals. Through special programs, visitors to this festival can learn more about and better appreciate the urban ocean. There will be special boat programs during the festival and the summer at an additional cost.

The Urban Ocean: World Port and Sea Life Cruise occurs monthly through September (at 4:00 p.m. on June 15, July 13, August 10, and September 7). The Poetry Ocean Cruise is scheduled for Saturday, May 4 at 4 p.m. The Urban Ocean Festival is included with admission—$25.95 adult (12+), $22.95 senior (62+), $14.95 child (3-11), and free for children under age 3 and Aquarium members.
