ATZ is trying to make more people aware of how recycling can help the environment. If you have never been there, ATZ is a small zoo completely run by students and a handful of staff members. The students learn the ins and outs of running a zoo from the bottom up. It is a intense 18 month program that is 1 of only 2 hands on teaching zoos in the US.
