For the next 14 days I am going to go on daily walks with my children in search of Love.
Okay, maybe my husband might not like that... Alright, we will be on the search of hearts. As spring approaches, love is in the air and in nature! While I will spare you pictures of animals doing the deed, I thought that I would take pictures of heart shapes in nature.
While trying to find items for my son's school and looking for fun pictures of hearts for his projects, I realized that they are all very feminine and my son would have nothing to do with them. I started looking online to find more masquiline hearts and to my dismay, there were very few. So my goal of this month is to find them for others, especially ones not so... girly.
I will do my best to find naturally occuring hearts but we will see.

Great photos! Heart shapes seem to abound in nature. I have a couple of pictures here of tree branches that bend toward each other in the shape of a heart. Good luck on your quest!
ReplyDeleteLove these photos. I totally agree, finding non-feminine Valentine's Day anything is a bit challenging. I have two very young boys who are pretty oblivious to the reds and pinks, for now, but someday soon will want nothing to do with them.
